Jessa Henry & Grace Morrill Take Home CCAC Player of the Week Honors in Women's Volleyball

CHICAGO – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the weekly awards for women's volleyball and Roosevelt University's Jessa Henry and Grace Morrill were named CCAC Setter of the Week and Defender of the Week respectively for the week ending September 5.

Jessa Henry averaged 8.26 assists per set and two 40-plus assist matches in earning her CCAC Setter of the Week honors.  The junior also totaled 15 kills, nine service aces, 29 digs, and 11 blocks over the five matches played last week. 

Grace Morrill averaged just over 4.5 digs per set at 4.53 and totaled 86 digs over five matches, which included 19 sets, to take home CCAC Defender of the Week honors.  The freshman recorded three double-figure dig matches out of five matches played with a weekly high of 35 in a five-set non-conference loss to Oakland City University.  Morrill also totaled 21 digs in another five-set defeat to Lincoln College in conference action.
