The Roosevelt University cheerleading program successfully defended its national title Friday afternoon at the 2024 National Cheer Association College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Fla.
For the first time in program history, the Roosevelt cheerleading team won a national championship at the 2023 National Cheerleaders Association College National Championships on Friday in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Roosevelt University Vice President of Athletics and Student Success, Michael Cassidy, officially announced Tuesday that Bobby Rinaldi has been elevated to become the new head coach of the Roosevelt Lakers cheerleading squad.
The Roosevelt University coed cheer team will hold tryouts for those interested in joining the program for the 2022-23 academic year. The tryouts will take place on Wednesday, May from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Laker athletic facility in Arlington Heights, Ill.
