Lakers Unable to Overcome Indiana South Bend in CCAC Conference Women's Volleyball Match

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Roosevelt University women's volleyball team traveled to the Eastern time zone to take on Indiana University South Bend, dropping the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) match in straight sets on Tuesday, March 2 at the Student Activities Center in South Bend, Ind.

The Lakers were tied at 6-6 with the Titans in the opening set, but IUSB scored the next three points and led the rest of the way to take a 1-0 match lead. Roosevelt jumped out to a 4-1 advantage in the second set, but Indiana South Bend broke a 12-12 tie and went on to win the set 25-18. The third set was all Titans, as they raced out to a 9-1 lead and won the set 25-14 to lock up the match in straight sets.
