Women's Volleyball Drops Season Opener to Governors State in Four Sets
UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill. – The Roosevelt University women's volleyball team dropped a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) match in four sets to Governors State University to begin the 2021 winter season on Thursday, Jan. 28. After dropping the first two sets, the Lakers won the third set 25-22 and then built a 22-16 lead late in the fourth set before the Jaguars went on a 9-1 run to take the match.

- This was the Lakers first-ever loss to the Jaguars.
- The Lakers now own an 8-1 record in the all-time series with the Jaguars, which dates back to 2015.
