Petrica Down To 47, Rivas Enters Rankings At 71

CHICAGO – Two Roosevelt women's tennis players featured in the latest NAIA singles rankings from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association that were released Thursday.

Teodora Petrica fell from No. 32 to No. 47 after not playing singles in the last three weeks. Fabiola Rivas entered the rankings for the first time this season at No. 71, giving the 6-7 Lakers a pair of ranked opponents with conference play looming. 

Roosevelt will face the Milwaukee School of Engineering on the road Thursday then traveling to face Grace and Concordia (Ill.) next week before starting Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on April 6 at St. Francis.
