Women's Basketball Season Ends With Loss to Cardinal Stritch in CCAC Conference Tournament

MILWAUKEE – The Roosevelt University women's basketball squared off against Cardinal Stritch University in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Tournament Opening Round, falling to the hosts by the score of 73-49 on Tuesday, Feb. 23 in Milwaukee to end their 2020-21 season.

The Lakers played the Wolves tough in the opening quarter and trailed 21-15 at the end of the game's first 10 minutes. The second quarter was more of the same until the final two minutes when Cardinal Stritch made a mini-run to lead 43-33 at the half. However, the Wolves erupted in the third quarter, outscoring the Lakers 18-8 to pull away and advance to the tournament quarter-finals.
