Lakers Fall to Holy Cross in Women's Basketball Season Opener

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Roosevelt University women's basketball team opened the 2021 season with a 64-48 loss to Holy Cross College (Ind.) on Monday, Feb. 1 in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action at McKenna Arena in Notre Dame, Ind. The Lakers led by as many as nine points in the first quarter and were up 16-9 at the end of the period before the Saints came back to lead 33-22 at the half and take control of the contest.
