Anaisa Lozada Earns CCAC Conference Softball Player of the Week Honors

CHICAGO – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference released its weekly awards and Anaisa Lozada of Roosevelt University was selected as the CCAC Conference Softball Player of the Week for the week ending March 13.

Lozada was red hot at the plate during the week, going 20-for-30 for a .667 batting average with two doubles, three triples, and a homerun.  The junior also posted a 1.033 slugging percentage with 10 runs scored, seven runs batted in, and three stolen bases.

In her last seven games on the Lakers spring opening Arizona trip, Lozada had multiple hits in each game and registered four-hit contests against Dakota State University (S.D.) and Baldwin Wallace University (Ohio).
