Softball Splits With Aquinas

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Roosevelt University softball team and visiting Aquinas (Mich.) saw no shortage of runs scored during their doubleheader at the Parkway Bank Sports Complex on Friday, March 19, as the two teams combined to light the scoreboard 39 times in a non-conference twinbill split.

Roosevelt's early 3-0 lead evaporated as Aquinas took advantage of six RU errors in a 14-9 victory for the Saints to open the doubleheader. The Lakers came back in a big way in game two, scoring seven times in the second and adding late insurance in support of starter Hailey Getz to hold off Aquinas 9-7.
