Lakers Take Down Judson in Four Sets in Men's Volleyball Inaugural Match

ELGIN, Ill. – The Roosevelt University men's volleyball team opened the 2021 season with a four-set Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) victory over Judson University on Tuesday, Jan. 26. The Lakers rattled off three consecutive set wins after dropping the opening set to earn the first victory in program history.

  • Raymond Laguit (SR/Skokie, Ill.): Match-high 17 digs
  • Zach Jarema (FR/Highland, Utah): 8 kills & 6 blocks in his collegiate debut

NEWS & NOTES

  • Tonight's victory was the first in Lakers program history.
  • Elijah Peppers' 19 kills was a career-high, besting his previous high of 14 kills on three separate occasions in 2020 while at Robert Morris University Illinois.
