Appleton West Outside Hitter Jahfed Campbell Commits to Roosevelt Men's Volleyball

CHICAGO – Jahfed Campbell of Appleton West High School (Wis.) has committed to play men's volleyball at Roosevelt University as announced by Lakers Head Coach Nick Spallina.

Campbell is a 6'1" outside and middle hitter who hails from Appleton, Wis. The incoming freshman was named to the all-conference second team during his senior season at Appleton West and also excelled academically, earning the Barack Obama Certificate of Academic Excellency and high honor roll recognition.

"We are excited to have Jahfed join the program next season," said Coach Spallina. "He is an explosive outside with no shortage of athletic talent and he will be one of three Appleton West High School graduates on the roster for the class of 2020. We are excited to see him grow both on and off the court."

"I chose Roosevelt University because of the amazing opportunity to play volleyball in order to better myself and my education," said Campbell. "This whole process has been a blessing for my family and I, and Chicago isn't too far from home for me. I'm very excited for college and I can't wait to start my first year this fall as a Laker."
