Appleton West Outside Hitter Sam Perry Commits to Roosevelt Men's Volleyball

CHICAGO – Roosevelt University Head Men's Volleyball Coach Nick Spallina has announced the signing of Sam Perry from Appleton West High School (Wis.) for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

Perry is a 6'3 outside hitter and libero, who hails from Appleton, Wis. The incoming Laker received All-Conference Honorable Mention team honors during his time at Appleton West High School.

"Sam is the type of athlete that can do it all," said Spallina. "He brings a lot of energy to the floor when he plays, which I know will make our team play better. Sam is going to be a big contributor to our program over the next four years."

"Roosevelt University seems like an amazing place in an amazing city to continue my academic and athletic career," said the incoming freshman.

Perry will major in business administration at Roosevelt University beginning this fall.
