Justin Magale & Conor Pacelli Compete in ITA Men's Tennis Regionals

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Roosevelt University's Justin Magale and Conor Pacelli competed in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NAIA Central East Regionals at Leeper Park in South Bend, Ind. on September 29 through October 1.

In the B-Flight singles competition, Conor Pacelli received a bye in the opening round and then defeated Taiga Kurosu 6-2, 6-1 to advance to the semi-finals, where he lost Alejandra Santana 4-6, 6-0 (10-3). 

Justin Magale won his first round match-up in the B-Flight, knocking off Matthew Kinney 5-7, 6-1 (10-4) before losing to Robert Cercos by the score of 6-3, 6-3 in the quarter-finals.

Magale and Pacelli teamed up to compete in the B-Flight doubles tournament, winning their opening round match 8-2 before being eliminated in the semi-finals by the score of 8-6.
