Eduardo Hernandez & Gerardo Flores Selected to CCAC All-Conference Men's Soccer Teams
CHICAGO – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2021 men's soccer postseason awards, and Eduardo Hernandez and Gerardo Flores of Roosevelt University both earned CCAC All-Conference selection.
Eduardo Hernandez was named to the CCAC All-Conference First Team after leading the Lakers in scoring with 16 points on seven goals and two assists. The forward's goal total ranked 10th in the CCAC, while his points total was 18th in the conference. This is the first all-conference selection for Hernandez in his collegiate career.
Gerardo Flores earned CCAC All-Conference Second Team selection for his play on the Lakers back line. The junior helped the Lakers defense post five shutouts and allow 25 goals on the year. This is the second all-conference award for Flores, as he earned first team recognition in 2019.
