Bdzoch, Finner Earn Honors From GLCHL

CHICAGO – Roosevelt's ACHA Division I men's hockey team had two players earn honors from the Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League, the conference announced last week.

Max Finner was named a second-team all-league defenseman and earned a spot on the conference's all-defensive team after scoring five times and assisting on 11 goals this season for the Lakers. Danny Bdzoch was named to the all-rookie team after leading Roosevelt with 27 goals and 51 points this season.

The GLCHL also released its all-academic team last week, and six Lakers were honored for their work in the classroom. The six honored were: Max Finner, Nicholas Kotz, Timothy Laskowski, Dylan Mettetal, Frank Moore and Stephen Ward-Brown.
