Men's Bowling Opens 2022-23 Season With 17th Place Finish in Golden Eagles Invitational

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Roosevelt University men's bowling team opened its 2022-23 season with a 17th place finish in the Golden Eagles Invitational, which was held on September 24 and 25 at Cherry Bowl in Rockford, Ill.

The Lakers, featuring a young squad with four freshmen and a transfer, found themselves as high as second place during the two-day event before finishing in 17th place out of 20 team in the Baker competition. 

Individually, Roosevelt was led by Jordan Crackenburger with a 948 for five games, and he was followed by freshman Joseph Napierkowski with a 927 and Danny Callihan with an 858.

The Lakers will bowl in their first tier 1 competition of the season at the 48th Annual Midwest Collegiate Championships on October 1 and 2 at Bowlero Lanes in Wauwatosa, Wis.
