Roosevelt Resumes Hosting Weekly Super Smash Bros. Ultimate RUSH Event

CHICAGO – Lakers Esports is back with its RUSH series with a weekly on-campus Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament every Tuesday.

These events are open to everyone regardless of skill level, including members of the Roosevelt community and Chicagoland at-large. All participants get a chance to play against various skill levels from beginners to some of the best players in Chicagoland, helping us expand the Chicagoland Smash community.

Each week, featured matches from the tournament will be stream to the Lakers Esports Twitch channel and results will be posted to the program's social media platforms.

Doors open at 4 p.m. every Tuesday for practice and the tournament brackets begin at 6 p.m. in room 418 in the Wabash Building (425 S. Wabash Ave.). Every participant must bring their own controller, and a Smash Ultimate setup or Nintendo Switch setup without a monitor is appreciated.
