Bio

Lindsay Jones leads the new Lakers Spirit Program, which includes competitive teams in cheer and dance, and she previously held the same role as Spirit Coordinator at Robert Morris University Illinois.  Jones will also serve as the Head Dance Coach at Roosevelt, bringing over 30 years of training and over 20 years of professional coaching experience, including eight years at RMU.  In addition, she served for two years as Director of the Orchesis Dance Company and Head Coach for the competitive dance team at Saint Viator High School.

Jones is a 2004 graduate of the Illinois Art Institute of Chicago, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing in Management, and she would go on to complete her Master of Education in Post-Secondary and Higher Education at Argosy University of Chicago in 2011. Jones graduated from Bolingbrook High School (Ill.) in 1999, and landed her first coaching job at the age of 18 after serving as a captain of the Raiders Dance Team during her senior year. 

A recreational dancer by the age of three and competitive dancer by age 10, Jones holds more than 30 years of training and over 20 years of professional coaching experience. In addition to her role as Robert Morris Spirit Coordinator, Jones is a sports performance specialist at RedLine Athletics in Buffalo Grove, Ill., an L1 crossfit coach at Crossfit Rise in Schaumburg, Ill., and an accounting manager at Background Screening Consultants in Rolling Meadows, Ill.

Jones is a current resident of Arlington Heights, Ill., where she resides with her husband Brad and their two children Rylan and Kennedy.
