Baseball Completes Three-Game CCAC Conference Sweep of Lincoln with 9-3 Win

LINCOLN, Ill. – The Roosevelt University baseball team completed a three-game Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) sweep of Lincoln College with a 9-3 victory on the road on Monday, March 22.

The Lakers jumped out to a 4-0 lead with two runs in the second inning and solo runs in both the third and fourth innings, but the Lynx answered with three runs in the bottom of the fourth to make it a one run game at 4-3. Roosevelt sealed the series sweep with two runs in the sixth and seventh innings and another run in the eighth for the 9-3 victory.
