Late Errors Sting Baseball Against St. Ambrose; Rain Suspends Second Game

CRESTWOOD, Ill. – The Roosevelt University baseball team was plagued by four miscues in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference opener on Wednesday, March 17 at Ozinga Field, as visiting St. Ambrose scored the go-ahead run during a three-error sixth inning to leave Crestwood with a 3-2 win.

The Lakers trailed 3-0 heading into their half of the sixth before rain suspended game two, with the two teams agreeing to resume play when they meet at Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport, Iowa next month.
